    Inca Trail Itinerary to Machu Picchu 4 days all included

    First Day: Cuzco – KM 82 – Ayapata

    Our adventure begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 6:00 AM and transfers to our first destination KM82. We will start our trek from the checkpoint where you will show your ticket for the Inca Trail, passport, and ISIC card if you have one.

    From this point we will begin with an easy walk of 2 hours until we reach Patallacta (the largest Inca site), our guide will give you a brief explanation about Patallacta and then resume our walk for 2 hours until we reach Hatunchaca where we will be waiting for a buffet lunch.

    After lunch and a short rest, we will walk for 2 more hours until we reach Ayapata where we will spend the first-night camping.

    Second Day: Ayapata – Warmiwañuska – Runcuraccay – Chaquicocha

    We will get up early to have our breakfast since this day will be the hardest of the trip, we will walk approximately 4 hours until we reach our destination known as Abra Warmihuañuska (Dead Woman’s Pass) 4215m – 13829ft, where we will take a while and we will be able to appreciate camelids such as alpacas and domestic llamas, flora and fauna of the place while our guide performs a traditional ceremony to the APUS (local gods).

    After the ceremony, we will descend to the Pacaymayo valley where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us. After recovering our energies we will go on a 2-hour walk where we will explore 2 Inca sites Runqurakay and Sayacmarca, our guide will give you more information about the Inca sites.

    We will resume our walk until we reach Chaquicocha where we will spend the second-night camping.

    Third Day: Chaquiccocha – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñaywayna

    After our breakfast, we will have a walk for 5 hours where we will visit Phuyupatamarca (the cloud over the city), we will be able to observe water sources and a magnificent and beautiful view of the Urubamba river, Intipata (Terrazas del Sol), a complex of terraces and platforms that were built in the middle of a mountain covered with extensive vegetation.

    After lunch, we will have free time to relax and later we will visit Winay Wayna “Eternally young”, where our guides will explain the history of the incredible Inca site, we will return to the camp to have a celebration dinner to say goodbye to our incredible carriers of the Inca trail.

    Fourth Day: Wiñaywayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco

    On our last day we will get up very early to visit the city of the Inca Machu Picchu, we will walk until we reach Inti Punku “Puerta del Sol”, where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Once we are in Machu Pìcchu we will have a guided tour for 2 hours. Finished The guide will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train that will take us to Ollantaytambo, where our bus will be waiting to return to the city of Cusco.
